Find a trusted local plumber with Alfie

Most small jobs, like replacing a toilet can cost about £400 to £600, which includes labour, plumbing and disposal of the old one. Bigger jobs, like fitting out a new bathroom can cost more, if you need to fit a shower, bath and basin. For all types of work, you'll get an initial estimate in minutes and a confirmed price before you book.

Yes, lots of people do. Tell me what you’ve bought and I’ll get quotes for the plumber’s time only. If you’d rather not source it, the plumber can supply parts and I’ll include them in the quote.

Turn your water off at the stopcock (usually under the kitchen sink). If water’s near sockets or lights, switch off the electrics too. Then tell me what’s happening and I’ll book a plumber to find the cause. A slow drip can wait a day or two. Water coming through the ceiling can’t.

Many jobs can be booked for the next working day, depending on availability near you. Tell me when you need it and I’ll find the earliest slot.

A trusted plumber matched to your job, sometimes from our own in-house team. You'll see their name and the price before you book, and I'll manage everything from there.

You book first and pay only once the job's finished. Larger jobs may need a deposit. The full price is agreed before anything starts, so there are no surprises.

Your job is backed by our £1,000 Hey Alfie Guarantee once payment has been made on the job (T&Cs apply). If the work isn't done to standard, I'll arrange for it to be put right, either by sending the plumber back or by sending another trusted plumber.
